This Privacy Policy explains how the Ross Township Democratic Committee (the “RTDC”, “we” or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you access or use our website that links to this Privacy Policy (collectively,  or otherwise interact with us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by revising the “Last Revised” date at the top of this Privacy Policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as by adding a statement to our website homepage or by sending you a notification). 

 

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Information You Provide To Us

We collect information you provide directly to us. The types of information we may collect include your name, email address, postal address, phone number, and any other information you choose to provide.

In addition, note that the United States Federal Election Commission, United States Internal Revenue Service, and certain state agencies may require us to collect and publicly report certain information from donors. For example, the Federal Elections Commission requires us to collect (and disclose) the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of all individuals whose donations exceed $200 per calendar year.

  • Log Information: We collect information  such as your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, your operating system, and the type of browser you use.

SMS Opt-Out

If you are receiving text messages from us and wish to stop receiving them, simply respond with either “STOP” or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to the number from which you received the message. Once we receive your message, you will no longer receive further text messages from us.
